Type Ratings

Heliflite Charter & Training is able to offer Type Ratings in a range of aircraft, beyond just the ones we operate our selves. Whether you wish to gain a Type Rating in a Robinson R22 or an Agusta AW109, we are able to complete your training. From your initial Turbine Rating, or an additional Multi-Engine Type Rating, we have an instructor available to suit your needs.

Initial Turbine Rating
This is an addition to your existing licence and is usually required in order to fly larger helicopters. Before you start a Turbine Rating you are required to pass a Basic Gas Turbine Exam. Our Instructors can help you study for this.

We are committed to providing training in accordance with the CAAs guidelines. Our instructors endeavor to put you through your rating in the shortest, but safest possible time in order to gain the competency.
