Our Specialty Courses
Robinson Safety Awareness Training
CAA Certified Robinson Safety Course. Offered by Auckland’s only authorized Robinson Helicopter Company distributor. This is a requirement for anyone wishing to fly a Robinson R22 or R44.
Night Rating
Experience what flying is like after sunset, better yet… watch it set! Our location at Ardmore Airport is ideally placed for Night Flight training. We are able to offer both limited night (within 25 NM) or unlimited night x-country (beyond 25 NM) ratings.
Sling Rating
Tackle a new challenge, with an under-slung load. Perfect if your a Private Pilot looking to develop your skill further. Sling training is also part of the New Zealand Commercial Pilot Licence.
Mountain Flying
Learn to handle New Zealand’s rugged terrain. Expand your knowledge of the Mountains with our Mountain Flying course. Very valuable for the Private Pilot, or visitor to our country.
Type Ratings
Need to learn to fly something new? We can help. With our highly experienced instructors, you can be at the helm of a new machine in no time at all. We have a range of helicopter types available.
Foreign Licence Conversion
Moving to New Zealand? We can help sort the conversion. Our Instructors will help guide you through the conversion process. This may include coming up with a training plan so you meet CAA NZ requirements.
